Sales Engineer (permanent)

Tasks

  • Analysis and identification of potential clients in Germany
  • Evaluation of sales strategy
  • Preparation and participation in fair activities and conventions
  • Presentation of the company as innovative, dynamic and reliable market participant
  • Analysis of inquiries
  • Evaluation of quotations
  • Coordination of sales price calculation with the head quarter
  • Conduct of sales negotiations
  • Coordination of project management with head quarter and external service providers
  • Close cooperation with and reporting to head quarter
  • Coordination, development and realisation of forecast and budget
  • Organisation of corporate office and home office
  • Profile

    • University degree in mechanical engineering or physical applications
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the sale of mechanical engineering equipment into the aerospace or similar industry
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the project management of mechanical engineering equipment
    • German as mother tongue, business fluent in English
    • Personal relation to C and D level executives
    • Distinctive sales character
    • Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and periodically to Italy
    • Hands-on mentality
    • Strong organisational abilities
